Refund Policy

At Hostasia (operated by Redx Studios & Technologies), customer satisfaction is our priority. This policy explains our refund procedures for hosting services and domain registrations.

1. Hosting Services

1.1 Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 10-day money-back guarantee for all new shared, WordPress, and cloud hosting accounts. If you're not completely satisfied with our services within the first 10 days of your service, you can request a refund of your hosting fees on a prorata basis.

Payment Gateway Fee: A 5% payment gateway fee will be deducted if payment was made via Razorpay, PayPal, or CCAvenue, and refund will be issued on a prorata basis. No deduction will be applied if payment was made via direct bank transfer or UPI.
GST Deduction: GST (18%) charged on the original payment is non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount. Only the base amount after GST deduction is eligible for refund.
Important: Only one-time original mode of payment refund is allowed per account.

1.2 Eligibility for Refund

To be eligible for a refund under our money-back guarantee:

  • Your account must be in good standing
  • The request must be made within the first 10 days of service for shared, WordPress, and cloud hosting
  • For RDP services, DMCA Hosting the request must be made within the first 24 hour's of service
  • VPS services are not eligible for refunds
  • You must clearly specify the issue regarding our service
  • No experimental or testing purposes are tolerated under any circumstances

1.3 Exclusions

The following services and items are not eligible for refund:

VPS (Virtual Private Server) plans
Dedicated server plans
Administrative fees and setup fees
SSL certificates
Domain name registrations and transfers (see Section 2)
Addon services
Renewal payments for any service

1.4 Service Cancellation

If you cancel your hosting service after the money-back guarantee period:

  • No refunds will be issued for monthly hosting plans
  • For annual plans, a prorated refund may be issued at our discretion, minus any setup fees and a cancellation fee
  • No refunds will be provided for the current month of service
  • VPS and RDP services are not eligible for refunds after the guarantee period

2. Domain Registration

Domain registration fees are generally non-refundable. This is because when a domain is registered, it is immediately created and reserved in the registry database, and we incur costs that cannot be recovered.

However, in the following limited circumstances, we may issue a refund for domain registrations:

  • If there was a technical error in the domain registration process
  • If the domain registration request was submitted multiple times due to system error
  • If the domain was not successfully registered due to registry issues
Domain refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of registration and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund:

All approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and will be credited to your Hostasia wallet account.

4. Hostasia Wallet System

All refund amounts will be credited to your Hostasia wallet account instead of being returned to the original payment method. This wallet credit can be used for:

Purchasing new hosting services
Renewing existing services
Adding additional services or upgrades
Domain registrations and renewals
Wallet credits do not expire and can be used at any time. Credits cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred to external accounts.

5. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage customers to contact our support team to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks are considered fraudulent and may result in:

  • Immediate termination of all services
  • Additional recovery fees
  • Reporting to credit bureaus and collection agencies
  • Posting false or misleading negative reviews on any platform (Google, Trustpilot, social media, or any other) where no service was used or where HostAsia is not at fault will result in immediate account termination without any refund.

6. Modifications to the Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for updates.
